USAID meeting, coordinating NASA Harvest engagement with Bureau of Food Security, FEWSNET, and SERVIR team. The goal of the Harvest/USAID engagement is to expand the regular use of Earth observations (EO) data for food security and agriculture-related program planning, design, monitoring and evaluation across USAID. Objectives for the first workshop in this long-term engagement were to introduce Harvest and describe its premise & approach; facilitate a two-way discussion of needs & capacities; and begin the work of linking EO capacities and support across the Agency.
