The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) is one of the most complex policies of the European Union and one of the biggest items in the EU budget. Because of that, the CAP received a lot of criticism over the years that led to many reforms. Now the CAP is entering an entirely new stage enabled by the EU’s Copernicus,  programme, its own constellation of Earth Observation satellites and its dedicated Services. (65 kB)
